My first Bounty and counting

As an aspiring developer, I am putting a great deal of effort into establishing my new career. While I consider myself a skilled developer, my current public history doesn't fully reflect my abilities. To showcase my skills and potentially find better opportunities, I am building my portfolio brick by brick. Rather than seeking full-time positions, I am more interested in side hustles or co-founding opportunities.

I am passionate about creating innovative solutions and collaborating with like-minded individuals. Learning new programming languages and packages is an excellent way to gain insights into software architecture, as each GitHub repository has its own conventions and best practices.

A year ago, I heard about Algora, but I never had the chance to explore it further. Recently, I decided to take on a bounty at the Coolify repository, and I am thrilled to be part of this community. The community members were incredibly helpful, and I look forward to more opportunities like this.

Here are some of the bounties I have completed:

  1. Coolify - Feature: Rocket.Chat Template
  2. Coolify - Feature: Jitsi Meet Template - This was particularly challenging because Jitsi required a unique network setup to match Coolify's dockerized network.
  3. Maybe - Build Compound Interest Calculator - This project was built using my favorite stack, Rails and Hotwire. It seems that this project was created entirely through bounties, which was an eye-opening experience for me. I was not aware of Maybe OSS either.

In conclusion, I am actively seeking more bounties to enhance my skills and become part of amazing communities. It appears that it's possible to create a side hustle through bounties, and I plan to explore platforms like Upwork as well. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to making meaningful contributions.
